The Vision Services Program is designed with the intent of strengthening the learning abilities of students with visual impairments. The goal is to provide a student at his/her home school an environment where peer integration and collaboration will enhance competency and individual satisfaction. By removing barriers created by their impairment, students shall be provided the opportunity and encouragement to:

Achieve success in content areas.
Gain skills in traditional areas of literacy, technology, self-help, and orientation mobility.
Increase self-esteem.
Gain skills to function within their surrounding environment.

The 91茄子 School Special Services Vision Department is committed to meeting the needs of students who qualify for vision services based on a medical diagnosis of visual impairment. The amount of support is determined by a Child Study Team.
