ACT Information

  • Created by ACT Inc, the ACT is a standardized college readiness exam accepted and valued by all colleges and universities in the United States to assist in making admission decisions. The ACT is based on what students learn in high school in the areas of English, Reading, Mathematics, and Science and provides personalized information about students’ strengths for education and career planning after high school.

    The Act is comprised of four subtest: English, Reading , Mathematics, and Science. The exam is entirely multiple choice. The ACT Administration takes approximately 4.5 hours including breaks.

    ACT has many resources for Teachers, Students and Families. The newly launched ACT Academy has Test Prep for Students, Parents can use ACT Academy to take an active role and Educators can find learning tools for students.
