In-Person Secondary Summer School General Information:
In-Person Secondary Summer School offers courses for current 7th through 12th grade students. Courses offered through this program are primarily for repeat credit and are required because a student failed the course in a previous semester and needs to pass it to fulfill promotion or graduation requirements. In addition to those recovery courses, social studies or elective courses can be taken proactively to create space for other courses during the regular school year.

Session 1: June 3 - 14
Session 2: June 17-28
Times: Junior High Courses - Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 12:30pm
High School Courses - Monday through Friday, 7:15am - 12:45pm

What is the first step for students to enroll in In-Person Secondary Summer School? Step 1 is for students to meet with the counselor at their home-school who will submit a course recommendation into the system. Families will receive notification of that course request and directions for next steps beginning on Monday, March 25th.

Registration Instructions
- Contact your Junior high or High School Counseling office to discuss your secondary summer school options and have a class recommended through Infinite Campus.
- Pay for the course after receiving a recommendation email or checking your parent portal after 24 hours. (You do not need to wait for a confirmation email to pay, just for fees to be available in the Parent Portal).
- Receive an enrollment confirmation email within 48 hours. Email Summer School or Global Academy if confirmation is not received after payment, or if there are any concerns.
*Students are not enrolled until payment is received.

Out of District Summer School Enrollment Request Form
- This form is for non-GPS high school students who are interested in taking courses through In-Person Summer School. Registration for Out of District students will begin after May 28th based on space available. If you would like to solidify enrollment in summer courses ahead of time, we highly recommend you reach out to Global Academy (480-507-1476) for online course options, which are far more flexible and can be arranged ahead of time.
