I am very excited for the opportunity to lead and serve as the principal of Campo Verde High School. The majority of my career as an educator has been spent as a classroom teacher and coach, 22 years in total. Last year I had the distinct privilege of leading as the principal at South Valley Junior High and found an outstanding school community with exceptional teachers. parents, students, and staff. Yet, when the principal opportunity came available at Campo Verde, I felt the need to explore the option to return home to Campo Verde and to the high school.

Prior to serving at South Valley, I worked as an assistant principal over academics at Campo Verde High School and quickly fell in love with the community in which I live, and that has educated our four children. Before transitioning to 91ÇÑ×Ó Public Schools, I spent three years in a leadership role at Dobson High School as an assistant principal. I was very fortunate to be able to be a classroom teacher and coach for 20 years in the Dobson community at the elementary, junior high, and high school levels. Before relocating to Arizona, I taught at the junior high and coached high school basketball for two years in Kansas.

Throughout my time as an administrator, classroom teacher, and coach, my primary focus was serving students and the community while empowering student success. I greatly appreciate the emphasis our community places on supporting students, families, and schools. I am looking forward to working alongside the Campo Verde staff and with the entire school community in continuing the tradition of excellence and the culture of student success.
