Mrs. Mary Longnion has been the very proud principal of Greenfield Elementary since the fall of 2014 and GPS Global Academy since the fall of 2021.  She has served her entire career in 91ÇÑ×Ó Public Schools, beginning as a special education resource teacher at Greenfield Junior High Grizzly in 2002.  After four years as a junior high teacher, she moved to Canyon Valley School to oversee the special education department and in 2009 had the wonderful opportunity to be a part of the inaugural staff opening Campo Verde High School.  As a Campo Coyote, Mrs. Longnion served as special education teacher and department chair, dean of students, and assistant principal before making the transition to The Swamp to become “Head Gator.”

Mrs. Longnion is a Sun Devil at heart, receiving her undergraduate degree in K-12 Special Education, and a masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction in the area of Language and Literacy both at Arizona State University.  When the call to lead became too strong to resist, she pursued an additional masters degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.  

Mrs. Longnion lives and works in 91ÇÑ×Ó and loves being part of such a wonderful town and community.  In her free time she loves to be outdoors and enjoy the sunshine with her family and dogs, and will travel any chance that she gets.
