This is Dr. Joan Henry’s 6th year at Quartz Hill Elementary where Trailblazers use Imagination, Innovation, and Inspiration to blaze a trail of excellence to their futures…Quartz Hill is a project-based learning school with a S.T.E.A.M. focus that includes Gifted programs, full-day Kindergarten, an accelerated  K-3 learning program and an Amanecer preschool. Trailblazers participate in community and school spirit events and assemblies.  Quartz has strong educational and service learning partnerships with Campo Verde High School, local colleges and . businesses. Students enjoy and are challenged with specials including: music, band & strings (5-6), art, physical education, and library/STEM. .Clubs may include: K-6 S.T.E.A.M., Spanish,  Running, Culinary, Sunshine (Service Learning), Reptile, and Performing Arts  (Show Choir.). Quartz Hill is a character building, inclusive community built on respect, teamwork, and positive attitudes!
